I'm a runner in North Durham who enjoys hills and mountains. Over the years I have been a runner, team manager, coach and race organiser. I also enjoy creating free events to get people more active. At home I run on both the roads and trails but I enjoy the fells most. I've got into writing during the Covid-19 lockdown and started dreamingofthefells.uk to entertain myself and create a photographic scrapbook of online memories. My latest series combines two of my passions football and running. Run and football is a lighthearted groundhop across the country enjoying the football and trying out new running routes.

A beautiful Summers day for the short trip to Dipton. A friendly welcome and a not so friendly course. A good turnout from Derwentside A.C. including those who knew what to expect and a few who had no idea.
